Learning to open up

The main problems I personally faced was being afraid to go alone or to travel alone or be in social situations. I found  a lot of jobs that I can do, with the nonexistent experience I have that is, but the main problem is transport. I have a permit but no car nor a willing parent (one out of four) to assist with travel. Typically at this point most people say "take the bus or walk or ride a bike." These are all great ideas but the problem comes in as the fact that up until my first year of college I had never taken any form of public transport nor gone anywhere or learned any street names, areas, counties, or frankly the cardinal directions. So to sum it up I've lived in a vacuum packed bubble and this has lead to the fear of going outside along with a medical condition or two that inhibit my progress for a life better than this. I really hope that I can get a few jobs to support myself and hopefully get pass this trial.

Introduction

I created this blog as a way not to lose hope and to be able to look back on it in the future and be proud of what I accomplished. This is my somewhat journey on trying to gain employment and make life better for those around me in life. I'm an 18 year old "student", I use air quotes because I dropped out of college after 1 year and I can't really go back anytime soon and finding a job, is the only real choice I have, but the problem is typical of all teens, jobs want experience but won't hire you because you have no experience. The entire job hunting process is very discouraging if you are in my situation of not being able to drive, or be in overwhelming social situations, or the sun and heat for long. But hopefully I can look back at this blog and see that I never gave up and actually made something of my life.
